We collectively support the following actions for our children: 

(1) No smartphones before high school

(2) No social media until at least age 16

(3) Phone-free schools ("bell-to-bell")

(4) More independence, free play, and responsibility in the real world 

(5) Use educational technology carefully and intentionally

Just as importantly, we believe in setting a good example by reducing our own dependency on technology and prioritizing real-life connection wherever we can. 

And this shouldn't just be up to us. We believe in holding technology companies accountable.

All of this is a challenge and we are seeking to tackle it together.

We are seeking steering committee members to join us for educational events, community outreach, organizational and government outreach, communications, and connecting with similar groups.
